Stopped in LaPlace, LA to get a shrimp po boy sandwich and also a Oyster PO Boy sandwich. This is a must whenever I’m in the New Orleans area . I was headed back to Chicago the following morning. And this place was open that evening. I was very pleased with the services and the sandwiches were good! I will be back again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a bit hard time finding the place because the exterior lights weren't on. The food- local business with great sizes and great food. We got the #36 with fish and shrimp and decided to get grilled. It was awesome. We got 2 sides and chose Fried Okra and Red Beans & Rice. Wow!!! I would definitely come back. Portion size we both ate for $16.
Today we visited at Sam's from a 100 miles away. We really enjoyed it Food was great and Service excellent. It was cold inside but they were having heating issues. Owner even provided electric heat and was so kind to us. IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN GO!!! I will go back when I'm in Laplace

I ordered today for the first time. The food was delicious and I will return again. The only thing is that I ordered potato salad and received French fries other then that the food was delicious
I’m a repeat customer and that alone speaks volumes. The food is real good. I’m addicted to their burgers, hands down the best. It’s definitely worth the travel to Laplace for! The owner is a good guy. He cares about his business, the quality of his food and his customers.
Labor Day and most places are closed and that made us LUCKY! We came across Sam's Southern Eatery and what a WIN. Fried shrimp, fries, red beans and rice on one plate and the other was fried oysters, grilled fish covered with delicious smoothed onions and green peppers! The gentleman serving us was excellent and took care of everything promptly. Life is good with southern seafood goodness in your belly 😁 I highly recommend Sam's Southern Eatery. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
